Te Aroha is a beautiful, historic Edwardian
spa town with a population of 3500, nestled at the base
of Mount Te Aroha in the Waikato region of New Zealand.
Famous for its hot springs and mineral water, Te Aroha
attracts visitors from all over the world. Te Aroha Clay Target Club was established in 1958 on farmland leased 5 klms from town on McKinley Road. Membership stands at 25 and has remained constant for the last 10 years. The main difficulty the club faces is a common problem faced by many clubs - a lack of new younger members. |
| The club has one DTL trap
layout, operated by an Ibis automatic trap, and balltrap.
Competition is held on the first Sunday of the month,
with Championships in September and October. Over the years several members of Te Aroha Clay Target Club have reached State and National level. |
