Sportsman's Haven Gun Club, Cambridge, Ohio, USA

The city of Cambridge was established in 1895 in Guernsey County, Ohio. Nestled at the intersection of Interstates 70 and 77 in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Cambridge is often called the "Crossroads of America". Situated between Columbus, Ohio and Wheeling, West Virginia, we are within one days travel of eleven major US cities. Guernsey County also boasts one of the most scenic stretches of the National Road in the state. Visit the Living World Outdoor Drama, Ohio's only passion play; the Hopalong Cassidy Museum, dedicated to our hometown boy, William Boyd, who portrayed the beloved cowboy; Salt Fork State Park, the largest park in Ohio; The Wilds, a 9000 acre one-of-a-kind conservation facility; the John and Annie Glenn Museum honoring the astronaut and senator known as the first man to orbit the earth. Many antique glass and furniture shops are further area attractions.
The Sportsman's Haven Gun Club was established in January 1989 by Brent Umberger, Ralph Wetzel, Terry Hunt, Charles Hersher and the late Jim Burgin.

The Youth Scholastic Trapshooting Team in action	The Gun Club is located just east of the city of Cambridge near the town of Old Washington. Our club has a clubhouse with lighted trap, skeet and 5 (6)-stand layout. We currently have 47 members and sponsor a Youth Scholastic Trapshooting team. We hold league shoots and club championships in trap, skeet and 5-stand for our members through the year.	The clubhouse
The photos were taken in the present winter. As soon as the snow melts we will send new photos. One of the founding members, Brent Umberger, is a "Master stockmaker".
