Congratulations Valley Gun Club - South Africa!

With a very creditable score of 733, there was no beating Valley Gun Club this year. Following success in e-Shoot in 2005 and 2006, we will now try again to get the e-Shoot trophy to Cape Town in one piece as they haven't seen an unbroken trophy yet! Jon Voss assures me SA Post can break the unbreakable so there will be a lot of extra packing this year! Congratulations to the team - Tobie de Wet, Peer Iuel, Kurt Wacker Jnr, Smittie Myburg, J S Smith and John Couzis.

South Africa also placed second with Graaff Reinet Gun Club of the Eastern Cape posting their highest score in e-Shoot since their first competition in 2001 - well done Tim Murray and the team.

Last year's winners, Oxford Sportsman's Club of Ontario Canada, shot the event this year in the tail end of Hurricane Lyle. Bill Malcolm said the targets were hopping up and down and even blowing sideways, so their scores are understandably down but very good considering the challenge of the weather.

Congratulations to the three shooters who achieved the possible and have entered "The 150 Club" , Brad McCudden of Newcastle Lake Macquarie CTC Australia, Tobie de Wet of Valley GC South Africa and Nick Garside of Mayland, Essex England. This must run in the de Wet family as Jaco de Wet joined the club in 2005.

E-Shoot is not about winning, it is about taking part and promoting our sport - you are all champions and we thank you for being part of e-Shoot 08. Nomination for 2009 is automatic for those who completed the event this year and open for the new entrants we hope will join us - the entry form is here
