e-Shoot Results 2007

Congratulations to Oxford Sportsman's Club Ontario, Canada!

Congratulations go to Oxford Sportsman's Club of Ontario, Canada, who are the Champions of e-Shoot 2007. The team Bill Malcolm, Lawrence Pye, Gerry Mitchell, Nelson South, Roger Spriet and Al Sandham, achieved a great score of 741 single barrel.

Congratulations also to Valley Gun Club, winners of 2005 and 2006, for a valiant second - they shot the event this year in overcast blustery conditions.

Two shooters have added to their membership of "The 150 Club" this year - congratulations to Canadians Lawrence Pye and Bill Malcolm of Oxford Sportsmen's Club.

Bill Malcolm says "... everything came together for everybody. We all shot over our heads. Lawrence hasn't shot for 6 months, comes out and shoots a 50 straight. I haven't shot a 50 straight for some time, I guess buying the new gun is finally paying off. The other guys are generally inconsistent, but capable of shooting those scores once in a blue moon. I guess it is bound to happen eventually and we have been doing this for, what, 6 years now. I suppose it was just our turn this year."

The low number of clubs who actually followed through with their scores in no way detracts from the winner, but is however very disappointing. To all the clubs who entered e-Shoot 2007 and sent in their scores, you are all champions and we thank you for your support of clay target shooting around the world. This is the seventh year of e-Shoot and we hope it won't be the last - that is up to you. Nominations are now open.
