With a score of 743/750 there is no doubt about the winner. Congratulations to Fareham Clay Target Club of Hampshire, England, who receive the e-Shoot Champions trophy for 2003. Fareham won the first e-Shoot competition in 2001 and have certainly proved that was no fluke by doing it again. Congratulations from all the teams which took part in e-Shoot 2003. Fareham also present an additional trophy to the winning team each year, but will not be presenting it to themselves! Instead they are making a great gesture and donating the money to their local Cancer Hospice.

Congratulations to Knox Township Sportsmens Club of Alliance, Ohio (winners of e-Shoot 2002) who will be receiving the Single Barrel Champions Trophy presented by Orion Gun Club, Essex, UK. The team were: A Grade - Dave Mowry 150, Bill Wheeler 150 B Grade - Gary Peters 150, Rick Kuhn 147 C Grade - Jeff Simons 144, Bill Swanger 141 Team total - 741 Well done for achieving the highest score of the single barrel entries, second overall and another well-earned place on the Honour Board!

Congratulations to the 10 shooters achieving a perfect score and gaining membership of "The 150 Club". Three shooters on 149 narrowly missed joining the club and two deserve a very special mention as they are both C Graders - K Luff of Fareham CTC, England, and Ian Spencer of Te Aroha, New Zealand.

To all the unplaced teams, it's not about winning, it's about taking part! None of the lower scoring teams have anything to be ashamed of, as they all either shot in adverse conditions or are small clubs - obviously the more members you have the more choice you have when selecting your team. Graaff Reinet in South Africa do not normally shoot DTL but it is great to have them entering into the spirit of e-Shoot and supporting the event. For the second year Maryborough shot in pouring rain and we are seriously considering changing the time of year we shoot the e-Shoot event!

Only 16 of the 22 entered clubs actually registered scores, which is disappointing, especially as several of the missing were from Australia and one was the Single Barrel Champion last year, Markham of Florida. Port Elizabeth in South Africa had their shoot wiped out by "the mother of all storms", with no chance to reschedule the event and Bombala, Australia sent in apologies for circumstances which prevented them from competing this year. Port Elizabeth and Bombala have both pledged their support by entering for 2004.

Everyone who entered e-Shoot is a champion of our sport - thank you to everyone for your support and we hope you'll be back to do it again in e-Shoot 2004. Clubs which registered scores this year will be automatically re-entered for 2004 so please contact us and ask to be removed if you do not want to join in. Entries close on December 31st 2003, with results not due in until August 31st 2004, but now is the time to schedule your shoot for your ideal time of year, wherever you are, and encourage your neighbouring clubs to enter.
