Congratulations Singleton Clay Target Club New South Wales

With only two points separating the top two clubs from NSW and the West Australian a close third, Queensland doesn't get a look in this year. Congratulations to the winning team from Singleton - Don Hungerford, Tony Mitchell, Peter Poile, Geoff Merrick, Robert Harris and Brock Goodwin who scored an excellent 712. Newcastle Lake Macquarie were only two points behind and produced the only possible in the event - congratulations to Brad McCudden, who enters the "Aus-Shoot 150 Club".

The top scoring Queensland club is Port Denison on 695, closely followed by Bundaberg on 693. The lower scoring clubs all have members who are perfectly capable of putting together a possible, but all fell in a hole on the day (You know what it's like when the possible becomes impossible!)

The trophy will now travel from Ballendean Queensland and spend a year at Singleton in the heart of the Hunter region of New South Wales.

Thanks to the clubs and members who helped us promote our sport and fellowship. Those who entered for 2008 are automatically entered for 2009. Please spread the word and encourage more Australian clubs to enter
