Welcome to Aus-Shoot!
What is Aus-Shoot?
When Tony Roberts of the NSWCTA Committee asked Maryborough Q if an 'e-Shoot' could be run for Australia, Aus-Shoot was born. Run on similar lines to the international e-Shoot Maryborough has been running for several years, the competition is conducted via e-mail and is open to all ACTA registered clubs in Australia. Each club shoots the event at their own club as part of a regular ACTA club program and submits their scores. Entry is free!
All you have to do is nominate your club using the form below and schedule the event in your program between now and the end of October 2009. The form below has an area for comments or questions, or you can email
Entries in Aus-Shoot will automatically be entered into e-Shoot, so your scores will also be working for Australia. Thanks to David Hagarty of Brewarrina, who has pointed out a difference in the rules between Aus-Shoot and e-Shoot - in the e-Shoot rules all shooters over 94% are A Grade so this means a change of team for Aus-Shooters to have a fair go in e-Shoot - on the Aus-Shoot score sheet provision has been made at the bottom of the form for an additional AA Grade shooter, so if you have a AA Grader with a higher score than your A Grader, that score will be used for e-Shoot.

The Trophy.
The Aus-Shoot Perpetual Trophy donated by Maryborough Clay Target Club will go to the winning Australian club each year with a certificate recognising their success. They will add their club badge and an engraved plate with year and team names and retain the trophy for a year before relinquishing the trophy to the winners the following year. Each competitor with a perfect score receives a personal certificate to mark their achievement and enters "The Aus-Shoot 150 Club'.
